Vacancy: German Teaching Assistant - Language School, Genoa, Italy

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic German Teaching Assistant with a firm commitment to develop their students' linguistic abilities. The successful candidate will support the German Language Department, enhancing students' academic outcomes and improving their language acquisition process. In close cooperation with our experienced language instructors, the assistant will provide an engaging and interactive learning environment.Tasks include:-Assisting in planning and executing interesting language learning activities-Supporting in class preparation and material design-Helping evaluate students’ class work and assignments-Provide students with extra help as needed-Invigilating and assisting during examinations-Promoting German culture to facilitate more comprehensive language learning

Job Requirements

Candidates must have:-A university degree, preferably in Education, Languages or related fields-Experience as a teaching assistant or similar role-Native-level proficiency in German-Fluency in English and Italian-Excellent classroom management skills-Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity-Eligibility to work in Italy
