Position: English Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic language school located in the heart of Florence, Italy. Job Description

• Assist lead teachers in delivering high-quality English language lessons to students, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Help prepare and organize teaching materials, resources, and classroom activities to enhance students' learning experiences.
• Interact with students in and out of the classroom to promote language use and cultural understanding.
• Facilitate language practice sessions, including conversation clubs and peer-to-peer coaching.
• Provide feedback and assessments to students regarding their progress and areas for improvement.
• Support administrative tasks including attendance tracking and student communications.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to build community and enhance student engagement.

Personal Requirements

• Native or proficient English speaker with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary.
• A degree in English, education, linguistics or related field preferred.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Creative and adaptable personality with a passion for language education.
• Fluency in Italian is a plus but not required.
