Job Description

The Web Development Intern position offers an opportunity to work with our expert team that holds a strong portfolio in handling complex architectures and large scale web applications. Candidates will learn and apply their skills in real-world scenarios, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of our web-based projects. The Intern will help in the development of new business solutions and assist with the maintenance and improvement of existing systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coding, debugging, and documenting software in line with technical specifications and business requirements.
• Participating actively in all stages of the software development life-cycle.
• Monitoring and restoring service upon disruption of vital project elements, managing routine updates and customizations.
• Engaging with fellow team members in brainstorming sessions to devise innovative solutions for programming roadblocks.

Job Requirements

• Enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Degree.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and understanding of modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
• Basic understanding of modern back-end languages like Java, Python, or PHP.
• Prior experience or understanding of database management (SQL or NoSQL).
• An inquisitive nature, propensity for problem-solving, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Personal Requirements

• A passion for technology, willingness to dive into new areas, and a thirst for knowledge.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and to deadline, and an aptitude for detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Basic proficiency in English is required, knowledge of German is an advantage.
