We are an internationally renowned, highly reputed architectural firm offering a stimulating and creative environment. Globally renowned for pushing the boundaries of design and sustainability, our diverse portfolio boasts significant projects that span continents and industries. Our extended team in Aarhus, Denmark, is currently seeking to invest in the future of architecture by offering an exceptional Architecture Internship programme.

Job Description

The successful candidate will get hands-on experience by assisting with the development of architectural designs, undertaking research to inform design decisions, and preparing models or graphical representations of designs. This programme offers exposure to a wide spectrum of stages: from feasibility studies to project delivery. The intern will review architectural documents for potential conflict with all disciplines, draft technical narratives, and contribute to the final schematic design and design development presentations.

Job Requirements

Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme in Architecture or a related field and will ideally have previous experience within an architectural or design setting. Proficiency in architecture software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. The candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of architectural design, building systems, and codes.

Personal Requirements

We are looking for creative thinkers with an aptitude for learning, who can work well in our international, dynamic team. Strong communication skills, the ability to multitask under tight deadlines and a detail-oriented approach is required. Danish language skills, while not required, would be a plus.

About Aarhus

Aarhus is Denmark's second-largest city, known for its artistic scene, its industrious heritage and rich architectural tradition. Offering a blend of modern design and historical charm, Aarhus provides an enriching backdrop for an ambitious Architecture Intern: the city boasts an array of architectural wonders, from the ancient Aarhus Cathedral to The Iceberg, a modern residential building which has quickly become an intriguing part of the city's skyline. As well as being an architectural haven, Aarhus is a vibrant student city with a pulsating culture and nightlife.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility for school commitments. This is an unpaid internship but we do provide a stipend for travel and meals.
