Internship Opportunity - Architecture in Sheffield, United Kingdom

A renowned global firm, known for its cutting-edge architectural marvels, is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated intern to join our Sheffield office in the United Kingdom. Our firm has an extended portfolio ranging from renowned cultural and commercial buildings to innovative residential projects and urban designs.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will primarily assist the team leader and the rest of the team in the following tasks:

  • Contributing to all stages of project development from concept designs to construction detail drawings.
  • Participating in client meetings and internal design critiques.
  • Assisting in the development of presentation materials for client and planning submissions.
  • Conducting architectural research as required for project work.
  • Participating in site analysis including site surveys, site context studies and reports.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Architecture (or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of UK building regulations and codes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
