Job Description
The successful candidate will provide support to the Logistics Team in a variety of tasks and responsibilities, such as:
• Conduct research into different modes of transport and logistics solutions, including transport and supply chain management systems.
• Review existing and potential contracts and monitor stock levels.
• Develop and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyse customer data to develop reports.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new logistic systems.
• Manage customer orders and ensure that all orders are fulfilled within the agreed timeframe.
• Liaise with third party suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth running of all operations.
Requirements
• Must have a strong interest in logistics and transport.
• Must have excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must have good IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have a good understanding of the key principles of logistics.
• Must have the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.
• Must have a valid driving licence.
