Internship Description

The selected intern will engage in a broad array of roles related to industrial engineering. The daily tasks will encompass:

• Assisting in the identification and implementation of systematic techniques for efficiency improvement.
• Coordinating with the engineering team to facilitate the renovation or development of production systems.
• Participating in Six Sigma, Lean, and other operational excellence initiatives.
• Conducting time and motion studies, process mapping and root cause analysis.
• Generating reports by collecting, processing, and summarizing engineering data.
• Actively contributing to workshops and team meetings, producing innovative solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or newly graduated from, a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Previous exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills, as well as expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and any data analysis software, are essential.
