Job Vacancy: Film Studies Internship

Job Description

As a Film Studies Intern, you will assist in all stages of film production, from pre-production through post-production. Responsibilities include script coverage, aquiring and cataloguing archival footage, assisting with location scouting, coordinating schedules on set, and managing film logistics. As part of the post-production process, duties include reviewing footage, assisting with sound and video editing and coordinating with the marketing team.

Job Requirements

Applicants should be studying or recently graduated in Film Studies, Communications, or related field. We expect a solid understanding of film history, theory, and technique. As the internship role blends both creative and logistical tasks, we seek an intern who can demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency with film-related software, including but not limited to Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, is a plus.

Personal Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a genuine passion for film, who is creative, innovative, and eager to take on a challenge. This individual should have excellent teamwork skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to multitask. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
