Vacancy for Translator Intern in Aberdeen, United Kingdom
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Translator Intern to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen, United Kingdom. In this role, the successful candidate will have the chance to work on a wide variety of projects with some of the world’s most well-known companies and organizations. As an Intern, you will be part of a highly experienced and motivated team that is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of work for our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage all translation projects from start to finish, including preparing and reviewing translation materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency of all translations.
• Translate a wide variety of documents including technical, legal and business-focused materials from English to other languages and vice versa, as required.
• Collaborate with other members of the translation team to ensure timely delivery of all projects.
• Research and develop industry-specific terminology and linguistic conventions.
• Monitor and ensure the quality and accuracy of translations and reformatting of documents.
• Provide cultural and technical advice to colleagues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or any related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a second language.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry-standard translation software and tools.
• A passion for languages and international cultures.
