Furniture Maker Internship in Istanbul, Turkey

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our furniture-making team in Istanbul, Turkey. As a member of the team, you will gain insight into the furniture industry, learn new skills, and have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field. Our ideal candidate must be a self-starter, creative, and have a strong interest in design and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to furniture design, production, and assembly.
• Help with the construction of various furniture pieces, including beds, tables, chairs, and shelves.
• Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for production.
• Work with the team to ensure that each piece meets quality standards.
• Provide input and feedback on design and production processes.
• Keep up to date on the latest trends in furniture design.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and organized manner.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with woodworking tools is a plus.
• Good understanding of basic carpentry techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
