Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Data Analytics Intern to join our team in Leiden, The Netherlands. The potential intern will work alongside seasoned analysts to glean insights from raw data, help develop analytics reports and models, and add value to our ongoing projects. Key tasks include, but are not limited to, data collection, data preprocessing, data visualization, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning. The intern will also be expected to present their findings to the team and may be involved in assisting with strategy development.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel is necessary. Understanding of data warehousing and big data technologies is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail are paramount. A clear grasp of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms is also desired.
