Internship in Film Studies - Amsterdam, The Netherlands

We are seeking a dynamic and hardworking Film Studies Intern to join our Amsterdam team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow with leaders in the film industry. The individual will support the team in varied tasks that will facilitate hands-on experience with film production, analysis, marketing, and distribution.

Job Description and Duties

- Assist in script reading and analysis, providing detailed notes and feedback
- Support the Marketing department in developing promotional strategies for upcoming films
- Help in coordinating pre-production and post-production activities
- Assist in set-up and execution of film shoots
- Perform detailed film research, including historical context, cultural sensitivity, market trends etc.
- Review and summarise industry trades for internal distribution
- Manage and update film archives.

Qualifications and Personal Requirements

- Current enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Film Studies, Communication, Media -related courses, or equivalent
- Passion for Cinema and good understanding of Film Industry
- Great research and analytical skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset but not obligatory.
