Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Education/Teaching Assistant to support classroom teachers in creating a productive environment where children can thrive. Primary responsibilities include helping to prepare and deliver lessons, supporting individual student learning and development, aiding with the implementation of individual education plans, and providing general classroom support.

Tasks

  • Assist lead teachers in the planning and preparation of lessons.
  • Help pupils understand and complete assignments by explaining concepts or giving individual attention.
  • Safeguard and monitor children’s behaviour and well-being at all times.
  • Work with special needs children to accommodate learning.
  • Facilitate classroom activities and maintaining safe and clean classroom environment.
  • Manage students' individual education plans and provide feedback on their progress.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree or equivalent in the education field, fluency in Spanish and English language and previous experience in a similar role. The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a strong dedication to child development and learning. Knowledge of child safety and first aid as well as a positive disciplinary approach are a must.
