Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant
Enthusiastic and dedicated individuals are invited to apply for the exciting position of an Education / Teaching Assistant in a reputable school located in Zaragoza, Spain. The successful candidate will work full time, supporting our teachers in creating a stimulating learning environment for our students.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Supporting students with their educational and social development.
- Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Provide support to students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Assisting with school events and extracurricular activities.
- Adapting teaching methods to suit individual student's needs.
- Creating a safe and positive learning environment.
- Monitoring and evaluating students' progress.
- Aiding in administrative tasks such as maintaining student records.
Job Requirements
- A completed degree in education or a related field.
- Experience in a school setting is desirable.
- A clear understanding and hands-on experience of the national curriculum.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A proactive, flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full eligibility to work in Spain.
- An up-to-date DBS Check.
