Title: Education/Teaching Assistant

Job Responsibilities

- Assisting the lead teacher in planning and implementing teaching lessons.
- Helping students understand the material and resolve academic struggles.
- Preparing the classroom environment, materials, and resources for lessons.
- Maintaining a positive and interactive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
- Administrative tasks related to academic documentation and tracking student’s progress.
- Working closely with other members of the teaching team to ensure consistency and coordination.
- Supporting the school's ethos, mission, and vision.
- Promoting the well-being and safeguarding of students at all times and report any concerns about a student welfare.

Personal and Professional Requirements

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Teaching or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in a classroom setting as a Teaching Assistant or similar role would be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detailed understanding of the curriculum and an ability to support the teacher in delivering it.
- Possession of a Teaching Assistant certificate or qualification is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, team working and administrative skills.
- Able to encourage and motivate students to learn and behave appropriately in class.
