Role Description:

The intern will immerse themselves in the complete life-cycle of event management. Key tasks will encompass everything from initial brainstorming, to planning, coordinating, and finally execution of our various high-profile corporate and public events. The intern will work closely with our experienced event planners, marketers, graphic designers, and other key personnel, thus gaining unique insights into the intricacies of planning and managing successful events.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage event timelines and schedules.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors, speakers, and attendees.
  • Assist in managing event budgets: tracking expenses and invoices.
  • Support marketing and public relations efforts for each event.
  • Assist in monitoring event activities to ensure the satisfaction of attendees and resolution of any issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will be currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field. They will possess excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Proficiency in Spanish and English is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a proactive attitude are essential. Previous experience in events coordination or a related field would be an asset but not a requirement.
