Job Description

We are excited to announce a vacancy for an English Teaching Assistant. This role requires an innovative and energetic individual capable of aiding in teaching English to all ages and levels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the lead teacher in planning and implementing lesson plans and assessment.
  • Maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring inclusion of each learner.
  • Preparing teaching materials and resources for specific lessons.
  • Providing feedback and recommendation to students and parents, when needed.
  • Participating in team meetings, seminars and ongoing teacher training programs.

Job Requirements

The following qualifications and skills are required for the post:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or a related field.
  • TEFL certification or equivalent.
  • At least a year of experience in teaching English, although this is not compulsory as we welcome talented novices.
  • Excellent command over English language, both oral and written.
  • Strong team player with good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
