We are currently on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic individual to join our team as an English Teaching Assistant.

Tasks Description

The English Teaching Assistant will work alongside our experienced English language teachers, aiding with the planning and implementation of engaging lessons that inspire students to become confident communicators in English.

The assistant's duties include, but are not limited to:

- Offering assistance in the development and preparation of teaching materials, syllabus design, and assessment methods.
- Providing language instruction to individuals or small groups to enhance conversational skills.
- Offering logistical support during language activities, school events, and trips.
- Helping to maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment.
- Providing feedback on students' progress to the teacher and contributing to reports when necessary.

Job and Personal Requirements

The successful candidate is expected to have:

- A university degree, preferably in the fields of Education, Linguistics, or Literature.
- A recognised ESL teaching qualification (TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA).
- At least one year of experience as an English language teaching assistant or similar role.
- Exceptional command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient Spanish language skills for smooth communication within a diverse school community would be advantageous.
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to motivate students and promote language learning through engaging teaching styles.
