Job Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Support students in their learning by providing individualized attention and assistance.
  • Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and behavior.
  • Facilitate group activities, encouraging collaboration and participation among students.
  • Supervise students during break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources, ensuring all are organized and accessible.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as grading, record keeping, and communication with parents.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in an educational setting, particularly with young learners, is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning processes.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
