Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and committed French Teaching Assistant to join our team. The French Teaching Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our French language classes, working closely with our French teacher to help in planning and delivering lessons that foster students' language skills and cultural understanding.

Tasks

- Assist the French teacher in preparing lesson materials and activities
- Provide support to students during classroom activities including practice exercises and assignments
- Help improve students' oral and written French through one-on-one and group sessions
- Assist with administrative tasks such as grading assignments and keeping records of student progress
- Take part in school events and immerse students in authentic French culture

Job Requirements

- A bachelor’s degree in French or a related field
- Proven experience as a teaching assistant or similar role in the academic field
- Fluency in French (both oral and written) and proficiency in English
- Knowledge of contemporary French culture
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for teaching
