Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, open-minded, and dedicated individual to join our language team as a full-time English Teaching Assistant at our language school based in the stunning surroundings of Tenerife, Spain. The ideal candidate will assist our lead English instructors in lesson planning, classroom teaching, student assessment, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

-Assist lead instructors in preparation and implementation of interactive, student-centered lesson plans.
-Provide supplementary English tutoring to students requiring additional support.
-Engage in student assessment procedures such as grading assignments and recording student development.
-Participate in class discussions and encourage student interaction.
-Perform administrative tasks including attendance tracking, updating student records, and documenting student progress.

Job Requirements

-A bachelor's degree in English, Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), or a related field.
-Native or near-native fluency in English.
-Experience or interest working in a multicultural educational environment.
-Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
-Familiarity with current teaching methodologies and ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different student needs.
