Job Opening: Education/Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

The teaching assistant will be responsible for collaborating with teachers to implement curriculum and lesson plans tailored to meet the academic and developmental needs of our students. Duties will include:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in managing student behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Assisting teachers in the preparation and delivery of creative learning materials and visual aids
  • Aiding in the evaluation of students’ progress through grading assignments and providing feedback
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with unique learning needs

Job Requirements:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field – a master’s degree is preferred
  • Fluency in English and Spanish – both oral and written
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or a similar role in an educational setting
  • A profound understanding of child development and learning styles, as well as a passion for nurturing growth and development in children
