Job Tasks and Description

The furniture maker intern will be integrated into our team, contributing to various stages of the furniture manufacturing process. Primary responsibilities include:

• Assisting in all areas including design, carpentry, finishing and assembly
• Helping in the selection of wood, hardware and other materials
• Learning and implementing our established production techniques and standards
• Working with diverse power and hand tools following safety protocols
• Participating in quality control procedures to ensure excellence in our products

Qualifications and Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter with a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail.

• Studies or experience in areas related to furniture design, carpentry, or industrial design
• Ability to work in a team, but also autonomously when required
• Capable of following technical drawings and blueprints
• Physical capability to perform the role’s demands and uphold safety standards.
