Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and qualified English Teaching Assistant to join our expert team. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and driven with a knack for communicating with international students. The English Teaching Assistant's main responsibility will be assisting the main teacher with lessons, activities, and assessments. You will also supervise and help students during their self-study periods, provide support during workshops and extracurricular activities, and aid in the creation of teaching resources. Moreover, you will need to liaise with the main teacher in planning, coordinating, and implementing the curriculum to ensure that students' needs and the school's goals are met efficiently.

Job Requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field, as well as a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. A strong command of English, both written and spoken, is a must. Proficiency in Spanish or a willingness to learn the language is necessary. Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching are also essential. Finally, candidates must be prepared to work and live in Salacama.
