Job Description

We're looking to recruit an English Teaching Assistant, whose primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting lead teachers in preparing and delivering lesson plans and material for English language classes.
  • Helping pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions.
  • Checking and correcting homework while providing constructive feedback to students.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing regular updates on their performance.
  • Organizing extracurricular activities like English Club or Drama Club to help students enhance their language competencies.

    • Job Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field. A TEFL or TESOL certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Spanish or other languages will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English as a second language will be preferred.
  • Patience and a love for teaching, coupled with the ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a capacity to work independently as well as part of a professional teaching team.
