Internship Opportunity

We are currently opening a rewarding internship opportunity for an aspiring Furniture Maker. This placement is a brilliant opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative team of highly skilled professionals and learn first-hand from masters in the furniture-making sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Your tasks will include assisting in the creation of sketches and prototypes, contributing to the design process and in making modification in furniture designs under professional guidance.
• You will take an active role in the cutting, assembly, and finishing process of high-quality furniture pieces.
• Taking part in quality control measures and conducting minor repair work, when necessary.
• Working with different materials, mainly wood but also metals, plastics, and textiles.
• You will participate in client consultation meetings and help with documentation and reporting associated with project progression and completion.

Job Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Some prior experience in woodworking, designing, or crafting furniture pieces is highly desirable.
• Artistic flair, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within the workplace.
• Good communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish.
• Availability to work full-time on a flexible schedule.
