Job Description

We're currently looking for an energetic, passionate English Teaching Assistant to aid in delivering high-quality instruction to our students. This integral team member will assist our experienced English teachers in preparing class materials, supporting students during in-class activities, and facilitating pronunciation and conversation workshops. The teaching assistant may also be involved with administrative duties, including tracking student progress, maintaining records, and preparing progress reports.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a teaching assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Support Lead English Teacher in lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Help conduct interactive language activities to foster student engagement.
  • Maintain up-to-date student records and prepare progress reports.
  • Assist in the creation of educational resources and materials.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, the prospective candidate must:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Possess proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Have previous teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in a language school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be IT literate and comfortable using digital teaching platforms and tools.
