Job Description

The applicant will work collaboratively with the lead teacher to maintain a healthy learning environment for the students. Their responsibilities include providing instructional assistance to students under the direction and guidance of classroom teachers, assisting teachers in the grading and assessment of students, helping in creating innovative teaching materials, and implementing school curriculum. The assistant teacher also plays crucial roles in organizing and supervising classroom activities, managing students' behavior, guiding students' social development, and organizing field trips. They will also provide administrative support to the teacher, such as managing records, communicating with parents, and aiding in the preparation of lessons.

Job Requirements

Minimum acceptable qualifications for this position include a Degree or Diploma in Education or a related discipline. Previous experience in an educational setting and with children of the relevant age group is essential. Proficiency in English and Spanish, and knowledge of the Spanish educational system will be a distinct advantage. Excellent communication skills, patience, creativity, and a deep love for children with a desire to help them learn are essentials.
