Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Education / Teaching Assistant to support our academic team. The teaching assistant will aid our teachers in planning and executing lessons, ensuring that all students receive adequate help to understand and absorb the subject matters. The role will also involve providing support to students with unique learning needs and assisting in managing classroom procedures.

Tasks

- Assist teachers in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
- Provide individualised support to students with learning difficulties
- Help in maintaining discipline and managing classroom
- Support the teacher in student assessment and record-keeping
- Facilitate after-school activities and school events
- Participate in regular meetings with teachers and parents
- Adhere to all established school policies and procedures

Job Requirements

Candidates should hold a degree in Education or related field and have previous experience working with children in an educational setting. The potential candidate should be proficient in English and Spanish, familiar with innovative teaching methods, and comfortable working with technology necessary for the role. A TEFL/TESOL or similar certification will be advantageous.
