English Teaching Assistant Vacancy in Lanzarote, Spain
We are a dynamic and vibrant language school located in the beautiful island of Lanzarote, Spain. Our mission is to inspire students of all ages to achieve their linguistic goals and enhance their knowledge of world cultures through high-quality language instruction. We offer a variety of language courses with a particular focus on English. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated English Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and professional team.
Job Duties
The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Assisting the English teacher in preparing and delivering engaging language lessons.
- Supporting students in their learning process, focusing especially on improving their speaking and listening skills.
- Evaluating students' progress and providing feedback.
- Participating in school events and activities.
- Contributing to the development of the school's teaching materials and resources.
- Ensuring that students are aware of and adhere to school policies and standards.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
- TESOL/TEFL certification or similar is required.
- Exhibit excellent command of the English language.
- Have a minimum of one year of teaching or tutoring experience.
- Demonstrate fluent Spanish language skills, both written and spoken.
- Exhibit a deep knowledge of the current English language teaching methodology.
- Have excellent communication skills.
