Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will be crucial in supporting our students' language development objectives. This will involve preparing educational materials, implementing lesson plans, and aiding the primary classroom teacher in all relevant tasks. The successful candidate will also conduct small group sessions and one-on-you tutoring. Additionally, they may have opportunities to participate in and contribute to curriculum development projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assisting the lead English Teacher in designing and implementing lesson plans.
  • Mentoring individual students and assessing their progress.
  • Providing instructional support in a well-ordered classroom setting
  • Maintaining a positive, encouraging, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff in curriculum development.
  • Comply with school procedures and standards at all times.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, or related field.
  • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification.
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Native English proficiency.
  • Openness to cultural diversity and eagerness to learn about new teaching methods.
