Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Education/Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role involves supporting our teaching staff in creating a caring, stimulating, and safe learning environment that nurtures students' growth and development.

Responsibilities

- Assist teachers in planning and preparing lessons, materials, and equipment.
- Provide support during learning activities and supervise small groups of pupils during lessons and break times.
- Help maintain a well-organized, resource-rich learning environment.
- Respond to students' educational and emotional needs, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and valued.
- Assist with managing student behavior in line with the school's policies.
- Use digital technology to support learning activities and help to keep accurate student records.

Qualifications and Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related discipline, and a teaching assistant certification (or equivalent) would be a plus. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential. Experience working in a multicultural environment would be advantageous. Additionally, we are looking for applicants with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. A strong commitment to children’s learning and development and a resilient, positive disposition are integral to this role.
