Job Description

Villa Puig Redo, Ibiza, our esteemed partner, a luxurious Ibiza property, nested in luxuriant gardens of trees and flowers with breath-taking wild hills and sea views, is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join their vibrant team!
They are looking for a food and beverage intern to join their team.
Tasks
- Explaining dishes and specials- especially fish- with knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serving food and beverages with proper etiquette and attention to detail.
- Addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction by checking in and refilling drinks.
- Setting up tables with appropriate tablecloths, silverware, glassware, and napkins.
- Assisting with basic food prep tasks like chopping vegetables or plating desserts.
- Learning about menu items and preparation methods.
- Assisting with taking inventory of food and beverage supplies.
- Keeping track of stock levels and reporting on potential shortages.
- Learning about different types of beverages and preparing them.
Requirements
- Proficient in English.
- Spanish would be a plus but is not necessary.
- Studies related to hospitality/ culinary arts/ similar.
- Able to provide a training agreement from your educational institution.
- Passion for hospitality: You have a genuine interest in the industry and a desire to learn and grow.
- Approachable and friendly manner.
- Presentable.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Conditions
- Spend your summer in the beautiful Island of Ibiza with accommodation provided on site at the villa.
- Monthly stipend of 300-600 euros/ month.
- Gain valuable experience and develop your skills in the tourism and hospitality sector.
- Work with a supportive team: Learn from experienced professionals and collaborate with a friendly, welcoming staff.
Availability:
- Start date: as soon as possible.
- Availability for a minimum of 2 months, can finish until the end of September.
- Working hours- 6 hours/ day, it is possible to work more hours depending on your school's requirements.
