Job Description

We are looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Education/Teaching Assistant, responsible for providing support to our teachers and students. Tasks will involve general classroom assistance, helping design teaching materials, and supporting the creation of individual education plans for students with special needs. The successful candidate must be capable of understanding student requirements and addressing them appropriately, ensuring each pupil reaches their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the teacher during lessons and activities
  • Work closely with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learned concepts
  • Maintain classroom decorum and assist in delivering lessons
  • Implement personalized education plans under the guidance of the teacher
  • Provide constructive feedback on student performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of an associate degree in education
  • Previous experience as a teacher's assistant is preferable
  • Good knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to connect with children and work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Knowledge of the Spanish language is required.
