Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant

We are actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated Education / Teaching Assistant to join our energetic team in Fuerteventura, Spain. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant educational environment in a picturesque and lively Spanish island.

Job Description

The chosen candidate will provide vital support to our teaching staff, working directly with the students in various educational activities. Core duties will include:

- Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom resources.
- Supporting students in their learning, providing extra help to those who need it the most.
- Assisting during activities outside the class such as sports and art events.
- Maintaining a safe and productive learning environment, ensuring general wellbeing of students.
- Providing support during field trips and other educational outings.
- Assisting in maintaining the records of students’ progress.

Job Requirements

Aside from possessing a patient, enthusiastic, and compassionate nature, the ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

- Previous experience as a teaching assistant or a similar role is desired but not essential.
- Have a degree or diploma in education or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and additionally Spanish as a plus.
- An ability to stay calm and patient under pressure.
