Job Description

This internship will provide a comprehensive insight into the workings of a top-tier dental office. The intern will assist in dental procedures, handle patient records, perform oral exams, observe surgeries and assist in conducting dental x-rays. In addition, duties will also include office and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the business.

Tasks Description

- Assist in dental procedures to gain practical knowledge of dentistry
- Handle patient records ensuring they are updated and well-maintained
- Perform basic clinical duties such as taking patient histories and oral exams
- Observe surgeries to gain in-depth knowledge of dental procedures
- Assist professionals in conducting dental x-rays
- Carry out office tasks to ensure a smooth workflow

Job Requirements

The candidate should be a student undertaking a dental related degree with a desire to gain practical experience. A keen attention to detail, strong verbal communication and a deep understanding of dental practices learned through study is essential. The ability to work as part of a team and display integrity and respect towards patients and fellow team members is also a key requirement

Personal Requirements

The Intern should be enthusiastic, responsible and have a strong passion for delivering excellent healthcare services. The ability to interact with patients of different backgrounds and circumstances is essential. The ability to speak and understand both Spanish and English is preferred.
