Job Description
Our school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teaching Assistant to work alongside our team of experienced language tutors. You will be primarily responsible for providing students with additional language practice, helping them with homework, conducting language drills, and organizing educational activities. Furthermore, you will be expected to assist in preparing lesson plans and teaching materials. Occasional administrative tasks, including attendance recording and progress reporting, will also be part of your duties.
Requirements
Applicants are required to be native or near-native English speakers with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in TESOL, Languages, Education, or a similar field. A teaching certification, such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA, is a must. Previous experience as a teaching assistant or a similar role would be highly advantageous.
We are looking for a applicant who has excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, as well as good organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Spanish, while not a prerequisite, would be beneficial. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching are characteristics that we highly value.
