Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will play a pivotal role in reinforcing English language learning and instruction for our diverse group of students. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting our lead teachers in the planning, organization, and implementation of English language lessons.
  • Maintaining a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes interaction and the use of English among students.
  • Collaborating on the creation of study materials and extracurricular activities to supplement classroom instruction.
  • Contributing to regular assessment of student progress through grading assignments and tests.
  • Participating in school events, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Job Requirements

To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree preferably in English, Linguistics or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a teaching assistant or similar role is an advantage.
  • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with people of various cultural backgrounds.
