Job Description

The successful candidate will work as part of our dedicated teaching team to provide support to students in a classroom setting. Duties will include assisting the lead teacher in planning and implementing lessons, supporting students one-on-one or in small groups, setting up classroom materials, and contributing to the maintenance of a safe and stimulating learning environment.Further responsibilities of the role include:

- Maintaining student records and providing updates on student progress.
- Collaborating regularly with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive learning strategy.
- Providing additional support to students with special needs or those requiring extra help.
- Assisting with non-teaching tasks such as lunch supervision and field trip organization.

Job Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- A university degree or equivalent qualification in education.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
- Exceptional communication skills, both in spoken and written English and Spanish.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- An understanding and respect for the confidentiality and safety requirements within a school environment.
