Education / Teaching Assistant Vacancy in Fuerteventura, Spain

We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and experienced Education / Teaching Assistant for our dynamic team located in the cultural heart of Fuerteventura, Spain. The successful candidate will be integral in supporting teaching staff and enhancing students' learning experience.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will carry out the responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

- Assisting teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
- Contributing to the creation and management of a positive, stimulating learning environment
- Nurturing the learning abilities and social skills of students
- Providing support for students with special educational needs
- Maintaining a safe and clean classroom
- Participating in school meetings, and staff training sessions

Job Requirements

Qualifications and skills required for the role:

- A degree in Education or related field (or equivalent)
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Previous experience working within a school setting / as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience of working with students with special educational needs is desirable
- Possession of strong communication, administrative and IT skills

- Patience and a passion for working with students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
- Keen attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and punctuality
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and positivity
