Tasks Description

Assisting in the Implementation of Classroom Lessons

Under the supervision of the class teacher, the teaching assistant will provide additional support to ensure that students fully understand the coursework. The assistant will use different strategies and techniques as necessary to cater to the diverse needs of the students.

Supporting Students' Educational Development

The teaching assistant will be tasked with paying special attention to the individual needs of the students, assisting any student in need of additional guidance or support during lessons.

Maintaining Student Records

The teaching assistant will assist in reviewing students' homework assignments, tests, and projects, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Creating a Safe and Stimulating Learning Environment

Alongside promoting positive behavior, the teaching assistant will also help maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment.

Job Requirements

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline. Prior work experience in an educational setting is ideal but not mandatory. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is expected, as is knowledge of the Basque language. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Spain.
