Paid reception internship in a hotel in Barcelona

Job Description

A leader in the sector worldwide, you have the opportunity to work in their completely renovated hotel, with more than 150 rooms, meeting rooms, a gym and a large restaurant area accompanied by an immense garden, a stage for events and a beautiful pool. 

Tasks

• You will be the main point of contact when welcoming their clients and making them feel unique from the moment you say "Hello" until "see you soon and have a safe journey."
• You will accompany the person in charge of the shift with reception tasks, with a heavy focus on customer service.
• Check in, check out.
• Manage the cash register.
• Advis ethe client during their stay.
• Support the reservation deoartment.
• Facilitate the client's stay and achieve a "WOW" experience with creativity and talent.

Requirements

• Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Able to provide a training agreement from your university or educational institution.
• Eager to learn and develop your skills.
• Effevctive comunicación skills and an approachable and friendly manner.
• Organised.
• Appreciates and learns from feedback.

Conditions

• Monthly stipend of 400€- 500€/ month.

Availability: 

• Internship dates: 10th September 2024- 30th April 2025.
• Schedule: mornings from 07.00- 15.00 and evenings from 15.00- 23.00.
• 40 hours/ week.
