Paid Export Consultant Internship in Gavà, Barcelona

Job Description

Our partner is an internationalization consulting firm for SMEs. It has been hired by the Rayen Group to boost their sales internationally. 

The Rayen Group which was founded in 1954, has always been pioneer in the creation and introduction of numerous products in different markets: ironing boards, ironing covers, mops, etc. They aim to provide solutions to various household needs by innovating and designing functional products while also paying attention to all the details that give their products great personality and quality. The success of this business model has always given them a very significant international presence in more than 50 countries. 

The general mission falls within the overall framework in which they will significantly enhance the sales of the Rayen Group. They will strengthen all the markets where they are present by seeking new clients and distributors. The internship will aim to actively participate in this search through various tasks.

 

Tasks

• Market research
• Search for potential clients and distributors
• Create a country-specific databases with detailed contact information
• Contact potential clients and distributors and present the range of products
• Develop business proposals and send samples
• Develop and implement marketing and communication actions
• Follow-up on commercial activities
• Assist the export department with day-to-day activities

Almost all the 50+ countries the company is currently doing business needs to be further developed. As examples they will be focusing their work on the following countries (this can be adapted according to the profile and languages spoken by the intern): Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, England, Ireland, Cheque Republic, Bulgaria, Slovenia....

 

Requirements

• Studying a university degree in international business
• Good communication skills
• Business and sales orientated
• Motivated by challenging missions

They are looking for a proactive person with a certain degree of autonomy, willing to take on this interesting and educational challenge that requires perseverance and initiative.

English level must be very good (written and oral) as this will be the usual day-to-day language. 
All other language is a plus, as it will make the job easier in some of the foreign markets they will be working on.
Part of the internal staff in the company doesn't speak English, so basic notions of Spanish is a plus.

Conditions

• Paid internship (400€ per month)
• The company offices hours are from 7.30 to 15.30. The working hours of the intern can be adapted to a certain level, and they might also consider the option of working part of the week remotely
