Job Description
Our collaborator is the number one private boat company Barcelona! They are providing hands-on sailing experiences with a professional guide creating a unique and unforgettable experience to their clients.
Their main goal is to share with them their love for the sea, nature and sailing while watching the city from the sea, relaxing with the music and with a glass of wine, eating something special with natural tasty and listen the voice of the wind!
This position is a great opportunity for you to gain experience in marketing, customer service and public relations. You would be working in a multicultural team and interacting with international clients on a daily basis.
They are looking for motivated and enthusiastic interns to join its dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of operating a successful sailing school and charter company.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients in personalising their sailing experiences with us: Work with Guest Services to understand client preferences, and potentially suggest add-ons or activities.
- Processing details during check-in: Ensure a smooth boarding process for guests (Guest Services).
- Welcoming and onboarding guests onto the boats: Provide clear instructions and ensure their safety (Guest Services).
You'll gain valuable experience in various aspects of our operations, including:
- Customer Service: Assisting customers with bookings, inquiries, and any pre-departure questions.
- Operations Management: Supporting daily operations, including boat preparation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
- Marketing & Sales: Assisting with marketing campaigns, social media updates, and customer relationship management.
- Event Planning: Supporting the organization of sailing events and regattas.
- Administrative Support: Handling general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
Requirements
- Passionate about sailing and the marine environment.
- Fluent in at least two languages, with English being essential.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
