Interns for Communication and Graphic Design / Cultural Management in Barcelona, Spain

Job Description

Duration: 2 up to 12 months (preferably more than 4 months).

Commitment: Around 20-35 hours per week.

 

Our collaborator has available two internship positions, one in Communications and Graphic design and the other in Cultural Management, which are listed below in that order.

 

Communication and Graphic Design Internship:

Description:

They are looking for pro-active and organised intern, who is interested in contemporary art practices and independent art organizations. They expect somebody with high proficiency level of English, while Spanish would be also a big advantage. The internship might be available in short time notice.

 

Tasks: ​

• Develop contents and graphic material for press, social networks and institutions.

• Update Social Media platforms weekly.

• Support and assist in functions regarding institutional communication.

• Document different activities and events through video, photography and texts.

• Edit video (not excluding).

• Promote events through different channels.

• Coordinate efficient and effective working relationships with internal teams.

Skills required:

• High proficiency level of English.

• Experience and knowledge of graphic design, media and communications platforms.

• Proficient writing skills.

• Team work.

• Fluent use of Photoshop, InDesign, and other up-to-date design tools and suites.

Accomodation – around 150 eur/month

Cultural Management Internship:

General information:

Duration: 2 up to 12 months (preferably more than 4 months).

Description: They are looking for energetic and organised intern, who is interested in contemporary art practices and independent art institutions. We expect somebody with high English language proficiency, while Spanish would also be a big advantage. The internship might be available in short time notice.

 

Tasks:

• Take care of the administrative daily tasks and routines for the Artistic Residency Program of AADK Spain (e.g. mails, schedules, calendars, budgets).

• Plan and organize other AADK Spain activities and events.

• Coordinate internal communication with the artists and AADK Spain’s team.

• Support some functions regarding social media communication.

• Assist the artists in their administrative needs.

Skills required:

• High proficiency level of English.

• Proficient writing skills.

• Team work.

• Organisational skills

• Knowledge of excel, google tools and calendar platforms.

• Experience in project management (organization and execution) and a hand on approach towards work.

• Interest in art, cultural projects and intercultural exchange experience.
