Teaching Assistant for French Language – Alicante, Spain

Our reputable Languages School located in the vibrant city of Alicante, Spain, seeks to hire an experienced French Teaching Assistant. Roles and Responsibilities

- Assisting the lead French teacher in planning and implementing a comprehensive French curriculum in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- Facilitating engaging class discussions and group activities to improve student participation and language proficiency.
- Helping in creating, administering, and grading student assessments.
- Providing individual support to students struggling with language concepts, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
- Assisting in organizing French culture-oriented events to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of French culture and language.
- Building a strong relationship with students and parents with regular updates about students' progress and areas of improvement.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in French language or a related field.
- At least one year instructional experience in French language tutoring or teaching.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Spanish will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possession of a work permit or eligibility to work in the European Union.
