Job Description

The successful candidate will assist the lead teacher in planning and executing the English curriculum, ensuring a high quality educational experience for our students. Main duties include:

• Supporting the lead teacher in lesson planning and preparation.
• Assisting in the classroom to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Providing individual help to students as necessary.
• Setting up activities and supervising students during class hours.
• Evaluating student performance and providing feedback.
• Attending staff meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
• Providing administrative support such as grading papers and recording attendance.

Job Requirements

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in English, education, or related field.
• TEFL/TESOL or other similar certifications.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in teaching English as a second language.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Basic knowledge of Portuguese language would be a plus.
