We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education / Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school in the wonderful city of Viseu, Portugal.

Job Description:

The main responsibility of this role is to offer support to our teaching staff, aiding in the delivery of interactive and inspiring lessons. The Teaching Assistant will;

- Assist in delivering and developing a variety of innovative and engaging lessons
- Support students both inside and outside of the classroom
- Help manage classroom behaviour
- Ensure the well-being and safety of students during school hours
- Assist with marking assignments and providing feedback
- Participate in after-school activities if necessary

Job Requirements:

- A recognized teaching assistant or education qualification
- Proficient English and Portuguese speaking skills
- Experience in similar roles is advantageous
- Understanding of different teaching methodologies
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both teachers and students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
