Job Description:

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high quality instruction and support to our students throughout their educational journey.

The respsonsibilities of the Teaching Assitant will include:

Providing effective classroom support to the teacher, assisting in the delivery of learning activities and interacting with the pupils
Supporting pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities
Preparing classroom resources and aids
Assisting with grading and record-keeping
Ensuring the health and safety of the pupils at all times
Participating in school staff meetings and contributing to the development of educational programs

Job Requirements:

Whilst prior experience as a Teaching Assistant would be highly regarded, it is not necessary. We look for candidates who are passionate about education and have the following:

A minimum of a completed high school education, with preference given to candidates with a degree in Education or a related field
Fluency in both Portuguese and English
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Creativity and ability to engage students in learning
Patience and empathy for students who may struggle with schoolwork
