Job Description
We are currently seeking an English Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will support our lead educators in providing high-quality English lessons, adhering to our well-structured curriculum, and making a significant contribution to our students' learning journey.
Tasks include assisting in preparing lesson plans, creating engaging and interactive learning materials, supporting in-class activities, regularly assessing students' progress, providing feedback, and implementing pedagogical improvements. Furthermore, the assistant will also be required to assist in organizing cultural and educational extra-curricular activities.
Job Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you should have a minimum Associate degree in English or a relevant field, prior experience in a similar role and a comprehensive understanding of teaching methods. A TEFL certification or equivalent will be highly regarded.
Candidates should also possess excellent communication and intercultural skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of Portuguese will be an added advantage.
